If you have been curious about inversions, the first part of this event is just for you. You will explore some solid foundations to prepare the body for inversions in a safe way.

Then you will experience deep relaxation through a gentle breathing exercise and delightful Yin session.

ASHTANGA YOGA FUNDAMENTALS
In this 2-day workshop, the fundamentals of Ashtanga Yoga will be covered. Breath, Drishti (gazing point), Bandhas (energy locks), Sun Salutations and Vinyasa will be explained to help you establish a self-practice.
 

Suitable for all abilities including beginners or anyone else who would like to explore the basics of Ashtanga Yoga.

You will also learn how to;

* Calm the mind and create an inner space for self-practice

* Be confident to join in a class

* Practise postures (asanas) safely and modify them if needed

JOURNEYS OF THE BREATH

In this event, Ingrid and Ezgi will guide you to explore the different journeys of the breath through asana, pranayama, chanting and Yoga Nidra. Your time will be spent with like-minded people in a safe and welcoming setting.
This event is suitable for all levels, complete Yoga beginners are welcome too.

 –  Ingrid and Ezgi completed their first teacher training together in 2017, both have been teaching weekly yoga classes since then. Although they follow different traditions they both have similar Yoga approaches that aim to offer accessible yoga for all abilities through a strong emphasis on the breath. –
 
 

INTRODUCTION TO ASHTANGA VINYASA YOGA COURSE

This event is designed for people who are new to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Bandhas, Ujjayi Breath, Surya Namaskar A &B will be intoduced first. Then – depending on the level of the practising people in the group – more asanas from primary series will be covered.
